Sales tax in my state is 6.25%.

South Carolina is 6% but here’s the kicker, new or used auto purchases are capped at $500. Better yet if you time it right, you can pay your county property tax at least a month before it’s due on your current vehicle, buy a new vehicle and transfer the tag and not have to worry about paying tax on new car for a year. With the Bronco I expect to pay at least 5-6 hundred in property tax and my Grand Cherokee is $170.

I never said "under invoice" in any of my posts. Don't know where you got that from. I used the abbreviation "@MSRP as a quick hand, because it's easier than saying, "Just under MSRP by $199."

I think you paid too much and the sales guy made you think you got a great deal. That's okay... It happens. They trick the weak minded all the time outta money.

The total that I negotiated is less than what the initial MSRP would be.

MSRP = 56,008
My price: 55,809 total.

If I am going to pay $199 under MRSP TOTAL that means I saved roughly $4,300 on my Total price.

My loaded OBX starts at 58k MSRP, dealer is doing $1,000 off, 7yr/100k warranty... After tax and fees and crap our purchase price is 60k.
