Hi All,

My jeep lease ends in June 2022 and I will be ordering a 22’ Bronco BL all features (building out as if it was a FE) for its replacement (buying not leasing). I was thinking it was perfect timing as the preorder backlog should get flushed out, but with all those delays I’m thinking I’ll still have to put my order in many months sooner. My question is for those dealers out there: do you think June 22’ is far enough out to where it is worth the risk of delaying an order in hopes of some sort of discount/incentive? Also, while hard to predict, what would be a good month to get my order in?

As a side note, I’m hoping for 22’ they add power folding mirrors, heated mirrors, colored seats options, and power seats for the MGV so I don’t have to buy the leather option.

I would reserve one now, no one knows how long all the parts and chip shortages will push everyone's orders back. Highly doubt if there will be any discounts or incentives in 2022 or later. As for the options I don't see them adding those only after 1 year of production, maybe when they do a refresh in a few more years they might add some options.

Heck I have an October 14th reservation and I'm not holding my breath that I'll see it by June '22. As far as discounts and incentives I doubt you'll see those until '23, maybe even longer depending on demand.

Good luck trying to time anything at this point with the parts limitations and manufacturing uncertainties. The best discount that you could hope for is to look at a dealer that is offering below invoice pricing like Granger. I'd order now and code it for a MY2022.

I'd guess you should have ordered last September ;)

We're all guessing on lead time at this point, but indications are that production will continue to lag demand for some time to come.
