Curious as to why not just load the poles in the kayak or on the trailer , or are they too long

Well , I won't get into it. Long story , short , they can still be there but the width of the kayaks rubs my handles when they are in place on two positions. So figured I would open myself to more options. Also these can be used instead of sand spikes to fish from on the surf on windy days etc.....

OK. That is one thing I remember about NC, numerous vehicles with fishing pole holders on the front. Always seemed like a visibly issue to me.

Officer: How did this crash happen?
Driver: I didn't see anything. He just came out of nowhere. It couldn't have been the 5+ fishing poles in front of the windshield.
Officer: Nope that couldn't be it, must be the other guys fault. Doesn't look too bad, you can still get to the water. Hope they're biting for you today.

Hey do you live on the Outer Banks? Got stuck on Ocracoke Island once when the ferries shut down for the night.

Yes I ive in OBX. The pole holders have quick disconnects , they will not always carry poles and when they do. They will be in the center , not directly I my field of vision. Which is why the lights are split. Some people do carry a lot of poles but if someone can't drive with poles in front , they should probably not have a license anyway. I intend to see how it works out , if it don't I got 4 other places they can go behind me. Ocracoke is a great place. Good ole boys island , lot of very friendly folks , getting stuck on that island is a blessing in disguise.

That trolling motor is a game changer. I foot pedaled a hobie that helped free my hands up for fishing but a digital trolling motor has to be awesome.
