Participated in a Easter car show with my Pop's at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Pinellas Park today. Had the Grumpster fully detailed yesterday, interior, exterior and undercarriage. So much attention was given to the Grumpster. Took home Overall Best of Show in the 2001-2023 modified truck division.

The best score you can achieve is 145 points. I scored 143 points and was penalized 2 points for a little bit of dirt under the hoods edge near the area that the bump stops touch the hood. Crazy how they judge these vehicles. Undercarriage, interior and exterior body received max points.

But as I've stated before the only reason I do these shows is to spend valuable time with my Pop's. He has a blast with his car, and me being there with him. He was over the moon when I won overall best of show. Family is very important to us.

Been the same for me and pops. Spending a lot more time together doing bronco stuff. Knee surgery next month. Hopefully he’ll be ready to ride soon after that.

Great to be able to spend quality time with your pops. I sure miss mine. Oh, and well deserved win. The “Grumpster” is one of my favorites on here.

Thanks, yeah the last few yrs has been rough with my Pop's. Triple bypass, numerous melanomas removed, and diabetes. So at his age, and everything going on, I try to spend as much time as possible with him. I take him out to lunch at least 3 times a week. Time is too short on this planet, got to take advantage while you can and have no regrets.

Off the subject a little. What bumpers and license plate bracket do you have?
nice looking ride! I picked mine up from having tint And ppf put on and it looked sharp, not for long around here with the wind and dust of spring!

There’s a way out. Check out the Unashamed podcast with Phil Robertson (AKA the Duck Commander) good stuff

Every day is a gift. We enjoy today, plan for tomorrow and remember we aren’t going backwards! Something about the windshield being big and the mirror being small because we aren’t going that way.

Both front and rear bumpers are by Rough Country. The license plate relocation kit comes with the rear bumper. The lights in the bumpers are also Rough Country and opted the complete package of bumpers and lights.
