Mine with not be a DD and will only be used for off roading to get to remote campsites, lakes, and exploring.
There was a poll here a while back and indeed it seemed like a lot of folks will not be using the Bronco for much real off road use, mine will be or else I'd be looking at a different vehicle.
In the end I want the extra clearance that 37's will afford and will go aftermarket to accomplish that.
I also don't care if people build these Bronco's up and never take them off road..has no impact on me other than less crowded trails...which I welcome!
I wanted more clearance with my 4Runner that was on 33's and 35's with the Bronco will be a decent start (without having to hack up the frame).

True, I just need a bad weather and mild off road vehicle.

I may just mod a base with a mild lift and pizza cutters.

I was initially "pro-squatch" but after thinking about it, my 32" tires and standard ride height on my JLU has easily tackled every trail I have attempted (there was one I stopped early as I couldn't see over the rocks and honestly wasn't sure if it was even a trail anymore or just a hiking path...). So I am 75% sure I will go non-squatch and also save $ on rubber and gas...

I keep reading this board everybody sounds like they need the squatch package and the larger engine. I would be willing to bet the majority of these vehicles will be mall crawlers rather than overlanders or rock crawlers.
Mall crawler you don't need much you only want to bedazzle it cause it looks cool
DD with occasional overlanding probable only need 33s and rear lockers at most
True off-roader rock crawler you will benefit from the works.
And you could have probably settled on a Kawasaki, Harley or Yamaha, However you chose to go the German route for reasons all your own or maybe you just wanted to look COOL. IMO to each is own.

Not trying to be the purchase police..... Just scratching my head and wondering why so many folks are willing to part with 5-10k extra for functional aesthetics when they can just add aesthetics and save some bucks.
But hey if you got the $$ to burn knock yourself out

In northern Alberta we need a capable 4x4 in the winter and spring(which leaves 3mths of dry weather lol)and for all the camping and trail riding will need lockers, now if ford would pull their heads out of butt and offer front locker as a stand alone option

I'm just preparing for a zombie apocalypse, I need the fastest most capable mall crawler I can throw money at. Is that so wrong?
Nothing wrong with that so long as you mount a 50 cal or better on it. I just can't find it listed as an option... might have to go aftermarket
