We have 20 4-door Packhorse Cargo Systems due back from powder coating in the next 2-3 weeks and will be ready to ship the following week. We have made a few minor adjustments to make the installation easier and to provide secured under tray storage.

Will the tray hold two Ruffland Backseat Rider Kennels?

It would definitely depend on the size of the kennels. I’m certain that they make varying size kennels. Also, the kennels door needs to be offset enough from the bottom to clear the tray when opening. The tray depth is 2” and add an inch at the anchor points that are built into the tray. Hey sportcoupe, it mounts directly to the factory anchor mounts in the cargo area. You just remove the covers, each anchor has two bolts and spacers / hardware are included in the Packhorse kit. In the process of making an installation video for the website.

The slides are rated at 430 lbs minus the tray (45 lb). Tested to 300 lb without tray deflection.
