I have been running painted flares on my Superduty trucks for almost 30 years. Zero problems, and I take them off-road and always have very big tires with plenty of poke.
when painting the flares, plasticizers that improve flexibility are added to compensate for them being flares and ABS.
The O.P.’s flares look fantastic.
