Paracord Roll Bar Protection Installed

Decided to wrap my roll bar with paracord. Used about 85ft of paracord and tucked what’s left on the Chanel below.

-mark where you want to wrap.
-used the bolts that holds the mic top to cover the existing screw holes: same thread (i replaced those bolts with GPCA anchors so i had extra bolts)
-wrap away!

because only thing available out there are vinyl, and will eventually get scratched still and have to be replaced again…figured paracord will at least hold up and if you need rope on the trail…there you go

edit: does not lose towing capacity, but you might lose 5mpg

Such a great idea, love to hear if you have issues opening and closing without stress or damaging the p-cord? Also , if this works with the IAG lift supports?

What about cooling for the air conditioning system? Does it hurt that?

Not sure about the IAG, i have a MIC. I’ll have to try it one a ST with IAG.
