The "jeep" wave was originally a sign of Ifeel your pain in the offroad community. We all used to wave at anything that looked like it "goes" offroad.
I had a 76, 77 and 2 79 cjs that were offloaded heavily. As well as two gen 3s that were heavily offloaded.
