Anyone heard of or run these? Randomly found them and seem like a good deal.

Never heard of 'Phalcon'. If you're thinking about buying a fridge/freezer for you rig, recommending doing your homework (i.e., "buy once, cry once"). Check out Overland Journal's 2021 "Best Overland Fridge Freezers Review" posted on the Expedition Overland's portal at https://expeditionportal.com/the-best-overland-fridge-freezers/. These guys do the best job of physically testing and measuring each fridge model's capabilities to recommend best buys for you.

I definitely get the cry once philosophy.
Thanks for the link. The Phalcon guys had some good reviews on other forums and use an LG compressor. I've seen both ARB and Dometic fridges fail, but those were both in rock buggies.

Those look like knock off Dometic fridges almost down to the names, which is very troubling.

If you actually plan to go out on trails with a fridge and in the summer weather, I strongly suggest not trying to save money on this purchase.

There are so many concerns to consider with a fridge. Power management and efficiency being at the top of the list. I currently have a Dometic CFX45 and this is my second from the brand. First still works and is now 12 years old and was passed on to a friend.

So many ways that trying to save a buck or two here will cost you dearly. Also keep in mind that the fridge needs to be rugged enough to take some abuse along with the elements.
