Phone call problem since software update

My phone connects via bluetooth just fine, but since the update, I can't always hear caller. They can hear me, but when I call out the speaker reverts to the media I was playing. Sometimes I can cancel the call, and it works on the second try but not every time. I have checked every setting I can find. Happens whether I am using Ford sync or Android auto.

I have the same issue but pre-update. If I make calls on the screen, I never hear a ring, the call connects, and I can't hear anyone on the other line. However, if I make the call through voice commands only on the steering wheel, it's fine.

Same here, mostly before the update. I found rebooting my phone solved it every time. I have a galaxy s22 and I don't think I've had the issue since the last phone update. I'm leaning towards android phone sw needed and update vs. Bronco issue.

Had something similar after an update. For me, it was a mix of Bluetooth quirks and how the system handled audio priorities. Made me think of testing a cloud auto dialer at work — once it’s set up right, calls connect cleanly.

The hands free in the Bronco is the worst i’ve ever used. On the highway it is useless - person I’m speaking to can’t hear me. The interior is too loud and microphone placement is too far from the driver/passenger. Not much you can do with a removable top though.
