Built 50 years apart, and the Bronco spirit continues.

Seen here is a Gateway Ford’s mannequin unit that was delivered to the dealership on July 27. It is a Wildtrak with the soft top, 2.7L automatic, in Rapid Red. It drives like a dream, with little to no wind or tire noise, powerful acceleration, comfortably wide stance, and aggressive appearance. It is a real eye-catcher and has created many impatient Bronco fanatics and reservation holders in our little town of Greeneville, Tennessee. It is absolutely worth the wait.

The other Bronco pictured is a 1974 Ranger package with a 2 1/2 inch lift on 33x17 tires. It is a rebuild of original 302V8 and C4 automatic trans with a 3 year frame-off restoration. It has AMP research power running boards and Ford Ruby Red paint from current model year.

The soul of the Bronco lives on, as evidenced by these photos.

The ONLY way these pics would be any better is if the hard top was removed and a Bimini top was on the WT.

What’s the point of the dealers getting mannequin units?

They want us to have these units so that potential buyers and reservation holders can have something to see in person. It also gives us the opportunity to know what we are selling instead of making assumptions on driveability, performance, options, etc.

Seems it’s really so folks can have another reason to be mad about not having theirs yet... 😉

That, too. We let anyone and everyone drive ours. That's the point of having one, right? It's frustrating to have such high demand and so few answers to provide. Dealers are frustrated, too! While many dealers are yanking people around, we are just trying to be good humans and get people their Broncos as promised. Hanging on a wish and a prayer here!

Respectfully disagree.

This photoshoot would be 100% perfection if they were both 2-doors and matching biminis.

Nice photos. (y) Too bad it's a 4DR. I believe its heart flows through the Ford Flex. ;)
