looks like you can but the top wont go completely down but close to it

I'm pretty sure that the top would fold all the way down, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to.

The real problem and I assume the reason why they didn't lock it down is because you cant lift up the rear to gain accessed to the trunk while the top is locked. So the idea of putting those in the trunk would be best to do with the top up then folding it down.

I didn’t get them to fit with it back. Was 1 door too much.
