Pics of the Area 51 Badlands Overland Concept from Mammoth Lakes, CA!

Checking in from Mammoth Lakes, CA! Took quite a few pictures and wanted to share. Here’s a few of my personal takeaways:

Area 51 is absolutely stunning in person. The MIC top looks great in person aswell, especially paired with A51 and I’ll have no regrets ordering it. The marine grade vinyl looks so good and feels even better, no need for the upgrade to leather unless you absolutely have to have it.

They also had the paint cans at the event and I took a side by side comparison of A51 and CG. In person CG looked just plain slate gray to me, the camera is definitely picking up a slight greenish/blueish hue that wasn’t apparent to me when looking at the cans.

Lastly, I tried to get some more info regarding the difference between Squatch and non-Squatch for the BL. The rep really didn’t have any info to share and couldn’t give me a definitive answer about what high-clearance suspension includes, lift etc so the cat is still out of the bag with that one.

I so want the the antimatter from the B&P tool... Sadly, I don't think the real one is going to match my expectation. Gonna have to get down to my Ford dealer and see it on an F150 one of these days.

Ford needs to offer the accent color on the interior to match the outside color and I'll take it! Area 51 highlights would be better then orange.

Is it correct these wheels are added to a non-Sasquatch suspension? Has it been confirmed if this set up will clear in normal over landing / mall crawl? Is it also correct that you can’t get the 4.7 gearing by going this route?

My apologies if these questions have been confirmed before.

I've seen the Overland Bronco and the wheel clearance is too tight. The Ford reps said it was a Sasquatch, but that has been debunked.
I understand these wheels on this Badlands are a true 35" and not the 315 (34.4") that will be on the Squatch, but pictures I've seen of the 2 door non-Squatch Badlands have, I want to say like 6.5" above the wheel with 33" (285) tires on them.
From what I have read on here the Sasquatch stiffer springs will only add maybe .8" lift at the most.
So I guess what I'm saying is I don't know, but very curious why this is.

It didn’t seem forced at all to me. I acctually think the accents compliment A51 really well.

Fantastic photos. My wife and I have been there at that exact spot and loved it. Hard to believe it's still California (easier to believe when we saw the gas prices).

If I'm not mistaken they fold flat with the headrests in place. On the 4-door, which this is, the headrests fold forward and under. On the 2-door they fold back.
