I purchased a pair of Hella lights to attach to my mirror brackets. Trying to figure out how to secure them.

They each came with a bolt with a square top. That square top prevents them from rotating in the bracket, as it is flush with the mounted bracket.

But, the bolt is too large for either of the holes on the mirror. So, I have to use one of the existing bolts.

But, doing that, the lights can loosen up over a short time even though I get them pretty tight. There’s nothing to keep them from rotating.

Any suggestions?

These types of lights can't be installed on your Bronco without another mounting bracket. It's a poor design, to have the bolt fixed to the bottom like that. Makes it difficult to install them.

Wish I had better news but I'd honestly return them and get some Baja Designs or Diode Dynamics lights. If you like the round bezel, we have them available with round bezels as wel
