We are trying to install roof lights and have removed the side panel above and on the passenger side to find the wire. Now the hazards came on and will not turn off.

I will try that but I’m at a loss if why this would happen also. Unless it is because we have uncover the area with the airbags.Pull the negative battery terminal for a couple minutes and see if that resets it. Not really sure how that could happen.. The hazard harness runs in a completely different direction.
I guess. Hoping when we put everything back together that maybe it will miraculously turn the hazards off.Sounds like Airbag deployment sensor is ruining your day.
Any updates for future reference if someone gets in the same boat as you?I guess. Hoping when we put everything back together that maybe it will miraculously turn the hazards off.
If it doesn't, try disconnecting the negative for at least several minutes as mentioned above?I guess. Hoping when we put everything back together that maybe it will miraculously turn the hazards off.
