So when I had my 2 door I mounted my ARB twin compressor in my engine bay. Worked amazing. But sold the car and took the compressor out.

Then I got a ranger raptor and installed Deck Drawers. Go with me, this matters. It came with a bunch of hard cases.

So when I lemon law’d that car for cam phasers I’m now sitting in hard cases and a compressor. So why not combine the two and now I have storage and compressor in a carry case.

I got heavy duty battery clamps from Polar Wire because each compressor has its own power wire and this can take a wire into each side of the clamp

I’m pretty happy with the set up. I know the chuck is kinda exposed but we should be ok.

Let me know your thoughts. I like that it’s portable, but the downside is you could forget it on a trip. Also really like Moarflate stuff.

I do like it a lot. I have the ford portable one with a single ARB version in it. I think the only improvement I could see some sort of quick disconnect type setup for the power versus the ARB jumper style. If you solve that reach out, I might be interested in buying one from you.

Why mount it on the outside where it creates bulk/snag point? Don't you run the compressor with the lid open?

I guess I don’t know. Not a great place to affix it so it would be flopping around inside the case. Good idea though!

You could use Anderson Connectors

Investigate Anderson Connectors. High current, high quality. I do it to all my vehicles. Can jump anyone to any other without even raisintg the hood. A set of jumper clamps one end and Anderson on the other works great. The compressor could have a mating connector.

Unscrew the elbow and hose from the compressor and screw the chuck into the compressor.

ARB shows that in their pictures but their instructions caution against doing it that way. Transmits a lot of hear to the hose and can make the fitting on hose fail.

You could consider using a Milwaukee packout box. This would allow you to be able to secure it using the packout clamps and would also make it easy to pull and use in another vehicle.
