Video did say wait up to 3 days. That could also be business days if the reports have to be read by a person. Then it said repeat the process if updates didn't come.

They removed the power up updates wiki so we don't know what is current for each model year Bronco.

BTW, my 2023 Bronco (Lux) is at 4.2.1.1 and that is up to date.
Well, I will wait until Tuesday afternoon, mostly because I still have to program several steering racks.

This is my current software, my last OTA was 1.9.0, but I think this is 3.5.3 updated on December 1, 2022

I’m curious to know if the sync units have a hardware limitation and updates -i.e., n-2 (years) only works with software X. Given the simplicity of the units, I would think not. But given the cost of supporting multiple years of hardware ($$$), it’s possible. May be advantageous to provide the year of build.

Here is is again. Maybe I didn't post it in this thread yet.

Thanks for this. I’m giving it a try.

One question - Why do you recommend turning off the Wi-Fi connection to receive the update? Everything I read - including my system when I went to shut off the WiFi - says to leave it connected to receive faster updates.

I’m still at 3.5.3.1, so I hope this is gonna help!

That's not my video. I don't know the reasons why the steps are required.

My Power Up Update happened on 8/28 has anyone noticed you can no longer choose to see "Avg MPG Gas usage" as one of the widgets next to the MPH

Bronco has a cellular modem. It doesn't always need wifi to update.

Updates actually work better without Wifi ever connected. Assuming you have decent AT&T signal where your Bronco is parked.

Correct. Was just stating the conditions as some said WiFi caused the Bronco to update possibly sooner.

I will say, never had issues with Carplay until this update. Twice now I have had Google Maps freeze and then shut Carplay down completely. A real PITA to have happen when following for directions.

Still hasn't updated, but stop and go adaptive cruise control is a good enough consolidation prize.

Stop and go got added???
No, but I added it this morning with the help of another B6G member. I still have a little more testing to do on it, but it is enabled and largely working (I think I have an ABS module issue that is interfering with it being perfect).

@BigHoof - This just started happening to me in the last two days. Does carplay completely disconnect from your phone and not allow you to re-open it? Mine will not re-open until I re-start the car. Also happened while using Google Maps.

I had a couple of issues after this update. Mine were mostly sound issues where it would freeze and give digital static. Carplay would ne semi-nonresponsive. I reset the system through the menu and after the reset, the glitches were gone.
