Thank you! It’s a tight fit to get to the plug, any tips you have to be able to get the plug to 35 ft lbs since a torque wrench doesn’t fit up there?

Just wanted to share in case anyone else is lazy like me and tries to use the Paper instructions that come with the PPE drain pain (as of 1/15/25 when I recieved mine): DO NOT TORQUE THE DRAIN PAN BOLTS TO 18-22 ft lbs as seems to be inidcated here.

Funny, the Deep Pan Instructions, Revision V4 dated 1/4/23, seem "correct" (I believe Ducati 1098 said it was 89 in-lb per the Ford specs). That torque value was intended to apply to the drain plug.

Needs be at operating temperature (206-215) running in park to check it correctly.
Level on the dipstick should be between the 3 and 4

I have not utilized it yet, but it's sounds to be all tucked up close to the exhaust. I bought a pair of gauntlet style welding gloves just for the occasion I do this pan replacement.

Yes, on the drivers side of the transmission case under a 19mm plug.

Loosen it before starting (keep it snug) and practice taking it out and reinstalling while engine is cold. Once you get the process down it will make it easier to check while engine is running and it gets hot.

Has anyone done a simple drain and fill after installing the PPE pan. No filter change just the fluid you get out of the drain plug on the stock depth pan, not the deep one. How much fluid did that require?

damn lol i see 175 as my temp, think i seen 180ish when i'm really bustling. definitely not the temp they say to check at.

Just let it sit and idle for a little while, it will get to 200
