PRICE DROP - Finally a Front License Plate bracket solution - order yours today

After seeing the placement of the front license plate ford came up with I decided there had to be a better solution. Thanks to Tor148 and his new Bronco I have some prototype photos to show the forum. Also want to thank redone17 and Gangstead for helping in development.

This is a bolt on aluminum bracket for the MOD bumper using 3 existing bolts. The plastic bumper will require drilling. Meets all states requiring the plate be 14” from the ground.

I’m selling the for $30 shipped in the USA, $50 to Canada. Any other location will require a quote. If you would like to purchase one please send $30 via PayPal to [email protected]. Make sure your address is noted on the PayPal transaction.

From my experience they don’t enforce it in CA or MN. I drove 40,000+ miles a year in CA for over a decade and never got pulled over for not having a front plate on either of our vehicles. I got a few speeding tickets and they never tacked on a violation for my missing plate. I’ve lived back in Minnesota since 2018 and I’ve also never been ticketed for a front plate.

Just because you have never been cited in MN it doesn't mean it legal, just lucky...

Why would you want to draw more attention to yourself?

Just ordered. Forgot to say it’s for the license plate, but I’m assuming if you see $30 with an address you’ll know it’s for the frame.

Anyways, does anyone know if you can remove the license plate frame the dealer puts on? Or should I tell them to not install it to begin with?

We all have different risk tolerances and mine have always been very high. I prefer the look on most vehicles without a front plate. I do carry my front license plate in the vehicle with some 3M double sided tape ready on the back of it. So far, after mostly driving without a front plate the last 25 years, I haven’t been cited for it. My wife prefers a front plate so our Range Rover has one. IMO, a plate would not look good on the front of my Tesla. I’ll have to wait and see with the Bronco.

And yes, the front door window tint is not legal in MN either but in two years the car will licensed and spend most of the year in Florida where it is legal.
