Problem installing Fitcamx Dash Camera

So I ordered a Fitcamx camera from Amazon for my 2024 Outerbanks Standard, when I went to install it the connector supplied would not match up with the connector behind my mirror on the Bronco. Here are pictures the circled red connector is the one on my Bronco , the connector in my hand is the one supplied by Fitcamx. Has anyone else had this problem. Everyone has raved how easy the install went

I had the same issue with the one I ordered for my wife's Santa Cruz. The wrong adapter was in the box. I contacted Fitcamx and they sent me the correct adapter in a week. Replacement worked.

The adapter they sent you will work. It piggybacks off of the mirror. Instead of the rain sensor.

Full size Broncos don’t have rain sensors. Only the bronco sport. It’s hard to tell which one he has. You’re right about it piggy backing off the mirror.

Oh yeah duh. Haha I don’t have rain sensing wipers. Is that thing for distance control?

It’s for the lane keeping assist.

I ordered mine directly from the manufacturer. They wanted a photo of the plug from the rear of the mirror before they would ship.

I figured out my problem on the Bronco , I was trying to connect the Fitmax with the connector under the original black plastic housing rather than seeing the connector directly in the back of the mirror, the connector Fitmax supplied was the correct one , once I figured it out easy cheesy
