Procal and tune update release notes?

Hey all,

Got the procal performance tune for my 2.7 (really awesome btw) and installed it a couple weeks ago; threw the device in my office closet.

On a whim, I took it out again, plugged it in to my computer; and there seemed to be an update to the procal software already, and seemed to also download a tune again?

does ford have release notes somewhere to see the changes? I was honestly surprised it updated already.

Ford release notes consist of "This update enhances stability and connectivity. Software Updates are deigned to help make your vehicle better over time." and that will be all they say. Whereas under the hood, they completely gut features and break stuff...

I have never seen an update note for a ProCal release though - not to say they don't exist, but after the Summer 2024 patch where they gutted MY23 tunes, and the huge 5.0 FordPass app regression, and the steady stream of OTA updates to my Bronco that don't seem to do anything but make Bluetooth worse -- I'm extremely pessimistic.

Like @Brian_B said, Ford doesn’t really do release notes.
Any updates to the procal are likely just non-performance related things anyway.
For example, let’s say Ford releases a TSB for a PCM update to fix a common EVAP DTC that sets. They likely just update the Procal calibration to include that same fix.
