Not just the warranty for the procal device itself, but any failures caused by it also.Big misconception about the warranty with these things - it has to be done by a Ford dealer to maintain the ProCal warranty NOT your vehicle’s overarching warranty. Just do it yourself, there’s nothing to it.
That's the same for any aftermarket thing you do really, though. Not just the warranty for the procal device itself, but any failures caused by it also.
Yes, obviously if something crazy would happen fixing it wouldn’t be covered but there’s not really anything that can go wrong tbh unless you majorly fail at following basic instructions. I’m saying if you install yourself successfully nothing warranty-wise is affected after the fact. You can also flash back to stock in the matter of a couple minutes at anytime if you would need to do anything warranty related down the road and were worried about it.Not just the warranty for the procal device itself, but any failures caused by it also.

If you did have a drivetrain failure, a dealer would have to point to ProCal as the cause to deny warranty... which would indicate there would be an issue with all the vehicles running that tune file from ProCal, as they are all just software files that get flashed.
Worst thing that could feasibly happen - in my opinion - is you go to flash and halfway through your battery craps out, leaving a ECM somewhere brain dead. That would be a non-warranty repair job right there related to self-installation.
Yeah I’m not saying anything will necessarily happen or the procal will cause any damage. But shit happens sometimes, so just thought I’d add that in there.Yes, obviously if something crazy would happen fixing it wouldn’t be covered but there’s not really anything that can go wrong tbh unless you majorly fail at following basic instructions. Flashing back to stock would be a waste of time. Dealers know it’s been installed just by looking at Oasis. You can also flash back to stock in the matter of a couple minutes at anytime if you would need to do anything warranty related down the road and were worried about it.
You are giving the dealers an awful lotta credit in the smarts dept. lol but yeah they probably could see a data log if they wanted toFlashing back to stock would be a waste of time. Dealers know it’s been installed just by looking at Oasis.
