Question about hard top

okay - here's a question - now that MIC 2.0 are up and running, is there any inkling on to the speed at which they are/will be produced? If we're a soft top but pushed to MY22 is there still the thinking that a soft top might get a faster build date or will it be roughly the same? Still trying to make that decision...

Ford hasn't changed its guidance on soft top being faster. But now that there is an automatic hard top connection kit that comes with all soft tops, you can do what you want . . . In the end, you'll have both tops. I stuck with a MIC top because ordering a rag top before September guaranteed that a future Hard Top would have a hobbled rear window. Now, you can go with the soft top and buy a hard top later, assumedly with style choices. Only down side is that an OEM stock Hard Top is cheaper than a post-purchase hard top, but likely a much longer wait. OTOH, aftermarket soft tops are cheaper to ship and fairly inexpensive . . . So do you want speed of delivery or stick to your ideal choice . . .
