@RCI Offroad mailed the brackets immediately as soon as they got back into the office today. Solid customer service 👍🏻

Got mine installed yesterday. Some tweaks need to be made to light bar position. I was missing a couple nyloc nuts and there are a few places with thin or missing powder coat. Easy to put together. Besides the powder coat issue I think it's a nice looking rack.

@FootPain - realizing I’m missing the Nyloc Nuts too. Think there is any reason not to use the black nuts with the lock washer in their place?

@RCI Offroad - why specifically Nyloc in that location? Seems both packages that went out in the same week were missing them.

Man, hope mine shows up before too long. "Only" been 2½ weeks, but emailed RCI to see if they could give me an estimate after a several day delay they just gave me a canned response about lead times in general.

I've skimmed through 11 pages for a definitive answer for the 2dr and have not found it.

@RCI Offroad what is the definitive answer to the 2dr version?

You can order it...I think it's 4 week lead time just like the 4 door. Mine took about 5 weeks. (FYI: @AK SNO RIDER)

**This is a new product and will begin shipping in approximately 4 weeks as we are awaiting custom packaging and hardware components

Just finished install. It's dark out - but just took a spin. No extra noise at all. Impressed.

Turns out I had a few Nyloc nuts laying around in some BuiltRight hardware kit...so, I am all set.

I will post pics soon. I think it looks sharp with the A-Pillar all blacked out.

I saw you already finished the install. The nyloc nuts I believe are used because of vibration the fairing may encounter from wind. Did you notice any light or missing powder coat on your pieces? Looking forward to pictures.

One of my brackets holding onto the rear cap has an imperfection in the powder coat - but, otherwise it’s solid.

Good call on the reason behind the Nyloc nuts.

I love how tight the fairing is to windshield. I didn’t realize how rugged the weatherstripping is - I like that it’s got the aluminum clip running through it. Other manufacturers just looks like a thin piece of rubber surrounding the edge.

I’m debating running 1/2 the amount of crossbars. I’m going to be running cargo box + fishing poles most often and a GFC Superlite + ARB Awning for longer trips. Neither of which I think will require THAT much reinforcement. Especially if I put the filler panels when the RTT is up. I feel it will offer more open air when roof is off and look a bit less busy. I do like how easy they are to slip in and out.

Mines arrived last week but couldn’t finish install. Missing the bracket that connects front and back pieces. Also the edges on the t slot fairing are sharp. Be careful when handling. Also only some are painted. I had to clean out the threadings they still had shavings in them. Looks like they didn’t bother to de burr the sides. Other than that woo hooo lol

Sounds like they forgot those brackets in a bunch of shipments the past lot. They got them out to me in 2-3 days.

I’m assuming they are cutting those crossbars from one longer painted piece. No biggie that it’s unpainted. If you notice the cutouts are bare too.

I’ve been having a bit of a challenge finding t-slot hardware that works with the rack. I got some 1/4 x 20 from McMaster-Carr and while they worked ok for the awning brackets - they seemed to catch the edge by the tiniest bit. They offer various sizes - but, I don’t need the button head bolts for other applications. Just the nut itself.

I am looking into options to mount GFC Quick Release which require countersunk bolts - and I received tiny M5 and the M6 is too large. I just wanted to ensure a solid grip on the crossbar.

What did you use to fill in the accessory ready mount holes?
