Are the MGV seats in the Black Diamond different than Badlands as far as color? That two-tone is fugly IMO. Makes no sense to make a two-tone for one trim and solid black for another.

Yes, they are different. Badlands gets black with lovely orange trim (not).. BD get’s this interior you are seeing with the blue. But at least badlands is just one color MGV.

This is basically why we're looking at BD. We don't do A TON of off-roading but do it enough, and in wildly various conditions, to where the flexibility is desirable. BD seems to be the sweet spot for the weekend enthusiast, similar to how a Mustang is a nice medium between a Fusion and a GT.

Thats exactly what I would do too if the high package was available for the BD.

Yeah. I originally reserved a BD but have been leaning #basemansquatch and every new piece of info we get it reaffirming of my decision.

Some smart seat cover company is going to use this as a template and make them in a MGV format for all models in various colors. They'd make a mint (not mint green though, NO GREENS!)

I believe most people do the best job that they can. Someone approves of all of what we have been seeing. Ultimately, the responsibility goes to the top person in charge.

It was not a dig at the person drawing the picture. More a comment on whoever approves the color/pattern/design of the rendering. That's all. To a certain degree the B&P pictures might be better off being a touch more cartoonish or obvious artwork so that it is more readily recognized as "representative".
