How do you keep the rear seatbelts from flapping with the top off?

Jason
Run the seatbelts through the headrest, buckle them, pull them all the way out so that they catch/lock with the tensioner when they retract.

Sounds feasible. Gonna take the tops off for the first time this weekend and try this method if they flap.

It is a design flaw and somewhat inexcusable that Ford didnā€™t account for this.

I don't know if it will work on the Bronco, but the straps on the Bimini Top of our pontoon boat would howl in the wind. Our dealer said twist them first before attaching the clips. It worked!! I haven't had the top off our Bronco, but it might work. Twist the buckle 2 or 3 times before connecting it and try it. Cheap fix if it works, nothing lost if it doesn't.

Thank you for this free and effective solution. Iā€™ve enjoyed driving with the whole top off for a week.

I originally bought the Stickerfab clips and they worked fine, but when someone sat in the back or passenger's seat they would just grab the belt and pull, and the clip would come free. Just installed the gun metal weights suggested above and so far they're working very well.
