Hi,
My name is Jamie, and I'm a refresher.
My addiction started back in January when Ford Motor Company gave me a hit of " Order Confirmed".
I'd visit their site once a day back then, you know how it is when you take that first hit off the refresh button right?
Oh man, it was so good....But as time went on I found myself not satisfied and hitting it more and more, but that "OrderConfirmed" just wasn't doing it anymore.
And when I thought I could quit? Ford came in and gave me some of that "In Production"..WOW!! That shit is LEGIT! OMG! Let me feel that rush again!
But like that hit of "Order Confirmed", my "In Production" was wearing off fast and I was hitting the refresh a dozen times a day just trying to maintain my high.
And when I thought I couldn't sink any lower I found myself standing outside a giant fenced in dirt parking lot trying to get off on a sea of Broncos next to a pile of dirt.
Yeah, those were dark days. I'm not proud of what I did to get off, but I'm sure most of you understand.
In my darkest hour, Ford Motor Company decided to keep me hooked and gave me a DOUBLE SHOT... Like doing a rail of coke off a strippe...Well, you get the picture.
Ford pumped into me a "Shipped" and "Delivery" dose. Yeah, not the FULL DOSE....these were the "Shipped est" and "Deliver est" doses.

Now...I am at rock bottom...Refreshing multiple times an hour keeping that high as high as it can be.
But I think the light is visible at the end of this tunnel and all I can do to keep from going under is...

HANG IN THERE and STAY PUMPED.

Amen, you're not alone. I'm refreshing all day and checking Email. Mine is off the train but not sure how fast it gets to the dealer. Makes it tough when your organizing insurance and financing, And it's in another state.

I'm a Broncoholic.
I'm still on a downward spiral. The refresh fix keeps happening faster and faster.
I currently have one tab open that has 4 seperate trackers.
All these hits, all in one spot , click, click, click, click ....

I thought this would get better the closer we got to deliverance.
That is not the case.
This afternoon ...... I took a hit off the "dispatched" pipe from the shipping tracker and now the refresh just doesn't cut it.
I'm like a burn victim and his morphine drip button .... click, click, click, click, click clickclickclickclick ....

I think my only hope to quit is to go cold turkey.... click.

My name is Melissa…my refreshing started back last July when the Ford site crashed after reservations opened and I had to refresh the page 100 times before it would work.

Then came Thursday’s this Spring where I would refresh my email every two minutes in case I got a VIN and build date.

Then came 6/29, blend day, and ever since then my habit is just out of hand. Pizza tracker, 6G, Etis, AEM, palsapp, you name it, I refresh them all every two minutes all day err day.

LOL.. So I could stop manually refreshing the browser, I have a small program I wrote that calls the Ford Api a few times a day and compares the results to the previous one... If it changes it sends me a Text message to my phone.... Just runs in a window in the background on my box...

The end has finally come to me F5'ing the Trackers.
I finally took Delivery today.

As a survivor I want you all to know, there is an end.
It may not be in sight for all of you, but it is there.


And with that being said, Y'ALL BETTER KEEP REFRESHING TO SCRAPE THAT DATA SO I CAN CONTIUE UPDATING THE DIRT MOUNTAIN TRACKER!
