thankfully no one injured. red light runner side swiped my front end.
need some advice from those who've experienced body shop/insurance with their new broncos. I am able to choose my own body shop, so going with a Ford certified shop. what else should I consider in selecting a shop?
what should I look out for in terms of parts/process? visually the damage is the headlight, grille, lower body trim below grille, skid plate, mod bumper, potentially the hood. how can I be sure there's no frame damage? thanks for any advice/tips/tricks to this process.

I second what Phil said. We were rear-ended a little over a month ago. If you take your Bronco to a preferred provider recommended by your or their Insurance company, they likely won't tear anything down, they will just do a supplement if any hidden damage is found after they begin the repairs. Our dealer here in town does not have a body shop. But, the body shop I am using is the one the dealership uses. We had to wait over a month for all of the parts to come in. Luckily the Bronco was not hurt that bad and was driveable. Just from the picture you posted I wouldn't think there is frame damage. The person who hit me was traveling an estimated 40mph.Go to a body shop you trust, have them do a partial teardown to look for hidden damage, demand all new Ford OE parts (likely only ones available right now), schedule the work, carry on.
An insurance company can not tell you what shop to use, that is illegal. You choose the shop and let them fight it out with the insurance company, that's what they get paid for.
I see $4K there.
I mean these pieces aren't a huge deal at all. You are in luck they are all going to be replaced, not repaired minus the hood probably. They will let you know pretty quick if there is frame damage once they get the parts off.thankfully no one injured. red light runner side swiped my front end.

I had to wait until after the repair claim was closed, then I filed with the other parties insurance over the phone since they were at fault. I'm also in a state that allows you to do that. Thanks @flip and @RoLyMa27 appreciate the info and perspective.
Popped the hood and the left passenger quarter panel is warped/pushed back. Have a body shop that I trust that’s not ford certified so will go that route.
How’d you make the diminished value claim? @Theowlhoothoot
Fender too? $5K+ now. Thanks @flip and @RoLyMa27 appreciate the info and perspective.
