Reverse Running Boards for Mud Flaps

Has anyone reversed their running boards on 4 dr Sasquatch to have Gatorback Mud Flaps work?
Apparently that is the best solutions at this time that avoids cutting steps.

I have not done this, but I spoke to the gatorback folks. They sent me an install document to do this. The only change you need to make is on the center mount for the steps you have to drill different holes in the mount. The front and back holes line up.

for two door, you have to swap sides then re-drill all the holes.

I finally took the plunge and these directions were perfect! The whole project took 2 hours max and I was pretty slow, not wanting to ruin my running boards. I installed the cheap ford flaps and on the fronts, I skipped the last step, which tells you to drill into your flares to install your flares to install retaining screws. Mine are held on with the 3 c clips, and 2 trim retainers and I've had no issues.
