AI says swapping left and right OEM running boards will give clearance for front mud flaps. Anyone done this?

2021 4D Wildtrak. I did this when there was limited options for mudflaps on the market. Now there are flaps out there that fit without doing this.

Broflaps.com. We’re a sponsor on 6G. Lots of pics on our site and our Premium flaps are USA made.

This. Work completely fine with OEM running boards as-is. Even if you raised them (which I highly suggest), still works.
I had IAG flaps that lasted three years but the hard plastic snapped in the cold winter. The hardware was also getting pretty crusty.
