I've always considered Toyota's 4Runner to be a pickup-based SUV, alike the superb Ford T6 Ranger-based Everest that I still hope makes it to the states (I'd buy one).
But I don't compare Bronco with Jeep either.
Bronco is truly unique.......it has no true competition.

Ouch.
$67K for either the TrailHunter or TRDPro...
Guess I'm not surprised even though I am surprised.

Looks like a squished Dodge up front, a GMC Terrain in the middle, and a Ford Expedition in the back. Priced to make Ford's prices seem downright reasonable. I've always had a passing interest in 4Runners but this may be the least interesting one I've seen yet.

As a previous Toyota fan boy that has owned 6 4Runners, 2 Tacoma's, 2 Tundra's and 1 Sequoia I can say I actually get excited seeing the new 6th Gen 4Runner. Not excited enough to pay the asking price or any thought of Dealer ADM. I've also never been able to "Order" what I want from my local Toyota dealers. Best I could ever do was request a certain Trim level with preferred colors that are still not guaranteed. My experience with Toyota's is you have to shop across the country to find exactly what you want. 🤷‍♂️

That's more price overlap with the Land Cruiser than I expected.

Directly converting to CAD puts the SR5 at 60k, and the Off-Road Premium at 77k with the hybrid pushing it to 81k.

My 24BB with options topped out at 60k and now I’m even happier that I YOLOed when I did.

What does SOP mean on that list? Looks like prices went up $10k...
Start of Production

Hardly a Rival. Only the Wrangler is close to a Bronco with a removable roof and doors.
