Hey there, just wanted to share a few things regarding the Rockworkx Multi-Tool that I just picked up. Here's a reel showing and explaining just a few of the functions that come built in, right out of the box.

I've been using it for over a month, and I can honestly say that it has come in handy on each of the trips I've taken since then. It's so convenient to have a shovel, hammer, or seat, that one, packs down so neat and compact, and two, is readily available at a moment's notice rather than having to dig through my Bronco to reach.

Please feel free to ask any questions!

Nice first post! Honestly if I see someone on the trail with an aluminum shovel multitool I know to get as far from them as possible. I don't trust most people with a shovel, let alone a shovel they assembled.

More like fear of getting hit in the nuts by a shovel handle. I am going to print that and use it at a safety tailgate.
I don't even know how that happens, unless you're walking around and step on one. Sorry to hear you've been the victim of poor shovel etiquette

Oh, that's a nice tool! Heh, the military needs to adapt that design. Reminds me of my field days. Though I have not yet had a need (knock on wood), that would be a nice accessory to add to my recovery kit.

I am an affiliate of Rockworkx, and have included a 15% off link below. This link/discount only applies to the Multi-Tool for now.

Despite the commentary already in this thread... I have seen one of these first hand and they seem pretty stout and well thought out. I nearly picked one up on sale at a show because of the uniqueness and seeming utility value- I just couldn't force myself to pull the trigger.

The only real problems I see is with the shovel and the receive hitch mount.
-The shovel has very limited use- snow or sand. Nothing hard packed or anything you would really NEED to move...
-The hitch mount- well, one good bounce off a rock and it would likely render itself inoperable.

I think a video of the tool in action for each function would be good. Showing us the value of each of the tools and the impacts on the tool in certain use. A real world test and eval...

You would hate being round e-tools and dogging fighting holes… not sure if that’s still a thing though

You are correct, and there is a solution to your second point. Rockworkx offers a Molle Panel Mount.
