Roll bar brackets

In my 4 door Bronco right about the center columns on each side there are mounting brackets on top of the roll bar, anybody know what they're for ?

Those are for the hard top panels to slot into

I think those are for the hard top - but I could be wrong. The soft top Broncos come with a "Hard Top Prep Kit" which includes the switches and wiring for the rear wiper and other components.

Curious, since Ford doesn't sell a complete hard top, why do they bother putting a prep kit in the vehicle?

They will be selling a complete hard top soon. Not sure on timing.

Aaah yeah, forgot about a hard top. Opted for the soft during the bad run of hard tops so we could get the vehicle sooner. Thanks for helping me with my DUH !!! moment.
