RTR Grille Lighting Configuration

I just ordered the RTR Grille and excited to get it in. It’s my understanding it’s a simple “plug and play” installation.. Do the additional LEDs always stay on? Can someone explain the lighting configuration as I just keep my lighting on Auto.

According to the instructions, when the parking lights are on, they are bright. When the headlights are on, they're more dim.
