I don't have a good photo of mine yet, but I went with @GoatFab and have been very happy with mine. I installed them back in March so they don't have a ton of wear and tear on them yet but they seem very promising!

I'm not normally a Rough Country fan, but I went with the Rough Country Step sliders. I don't like the mesh top because it allows mud to run down inside them, that is my one and only gripe on them. They are sturdy with a good finish and have held up incredibly well. After I run through gravel, you can hear them taking a licking by the stones pinging on them. After all the pics of rock chips on the sides of rigs, I chose what I felt provided the best coverage without being a full running board. Fill that front flap gap like the other poster pointed out and you've got a pretty solid setup.

How well do these work as a step? Been eyeballing these as well. Love the look, but curious of the functionality as a step with as high up as they sit to the body.
They work awesome! I do use them from time to time as a step myself, but I'm tall so I don't need them. My wife uses them all the time and has no issue. There's enough platform to easily step on, but not to big that you'll hate it lol.

Go Rhino Dominator D1. Needed something with a drop for my wife to climb in and out.
