I don't think you will pick up more than maybe 1 mpg going to smaller tires. The Sas tires are actually around 33.75" so going down to 33's (most are around 32.6-32.8) won't really net you much. I bet running 91 or 93 octane will get you better results. I'm averaging 15.8 mpg but I only have 280 miles (87 octane) and have only been on the highway once so far. We are still on winter gas so that shaves 1-2 mpg right now. My previous trucks would average 13-14 mpg in the winter so the Bronco is already ahead of them.
