Recieved my Scratchuatch wheel rings set today. Just wanted to say we love them. These rings are just what we were looking for to complete the blacked out look. Thanks Stinky Fab.

Just ordered a set in Bronze for my Area 51 2dr WT. I was torn between that and A51, but I think this will look good and add some protection. I had swapped to some silver BL rings to help hide the scars, but they were getting pretty chewed up too. For me, the stock WT wheels are too much black and it glaringly shows damage.

Just did the spare so far. Waiting to do the others since I need to remove the rear wheels to lower the rear suspension since I put the Eibach HD springs on. Not bad, but unfortunately it will always haunt me as to what the A51 color would have looked like....

Area 51 WT with bronze Scratchuach wheel rim protectors. I found them easier to install with the tire still mounted to the truck and starting from the highest insert and working around from there. Had more trouble with gaps with the wheel off, laying flat. Pushing the end of each insert inward while tightening the screws help minimize gaps, too. I didn't clean my wheels under the rings, which probably would have been wise. But, I'm lazy. It will all get washed once doors and roof are reinstalled .

Still, how would have A51 inserts looked?

@PowerBronco, that looks dang good. Hoping the bronze grows on me. Cleaning the wheels will probably help.

@StinkBug, just to let you know, I had purchased one of the air chucks when I bought my Scratchuatchs. Using the chuck with my Milwaukee M18 inflator, the inflator could not get an accurate pressure reading while it was running and it would always cut off well short of the set pressure value, like by 15 psi. Removing the Schrader valve from the threaded end of the chuck seems to have fixed the issue. I don't know if one of the valves was not getting fully opened or if the series of valves created too much back pressure, but I thought I'd pass that tid bit along.
