Anyone get false notifications via securialert?

I've gotten a couple notifications today that my driver's door was opened. I run outside to look.. and nope. nothing going on, no one around. door still locked and closed.

Hmmm. I think the vehicle just (as in right now) updated to the latest ford power-up, I wonder if that's related.

I didn't think the Bronco was on SecuriAlert? How can I add?

Seems luck of the draw if SecuriAlert is shown in your FordPass app.

Mine lets me know about the doors, tailgate, hood, and if the shock sensor in the security plus module is triggered.

Been working great for a month since I got the vehicle. Just getting these false alerts today.

I was having that same problem in the winter, I came running out of my hotel in my PJs ready to fight someone at 1:30am, only to find that everything was still secure lol figured maybe some sensor was being screwy because it was -25 degrees outside. False notifications happened a few other times in the winter and I've only had 1 false notification since winter ended. Never did figure out what the issue was.

I checked right after I sent this and mine is there on the app now. Weird I thought I had checked this before and that's why I posted the "eligible vehicles", because that was what came up on Ford's site. I'm adding mine now. Thanks, your false alarm helped me. :)

I did see this on the app...."notices may be delayed or in some cases not sent if there are issues with your data network".

Yup and I've definitely had the delayed responses, but this is the first false. Definitely not delayed, unless it's resending ones that were sent earlier.

That's what I was thinking. Networks can be quirky.

I hadn't had this happen again, until today.
I've received 3 false driver door opened alerts in the last 2 hours. I look right out the window and the Bronco is just sitting there. Door not open, no one near it.

Getting really annoying.

My securialert is all over the place. No false alerts lately, but now I'm not getting alerts when I should and am when I shouldn't. They're not delayed, I just never get them.

Like today, went and ran some errands. Never got a single securialert that the door was opened until I got home. Back in to parking spot, apply parking brake, shut off engine, and then open the door and THEN I get an alert about the door being opened... Shouldn't be getting them in that scenario. I thought maybe it's a delayed alert from when I got in before driving home and it's sending it once it connects to my home wifi.. but my drive home was 35 minutes long.. if it's a delay that's a heck of a delay.

It'd be nice to have an option to only have it send an alert if the vehicle was opened without a remote or the intelligent access usage. Course if someone stole your keys (like the recent post on the forums) you'd still want the alert. So being able to set options on the schedules would be nice. From 8pm - 8am notify me if door is opened. From 8am - 8pm notify me if door was opened without a key.

Just had my first false notification. Scared me thinkin someone broke into my baby 😭 but she was safe n secure in the parking lot at work. Gave me a mild heart attack... I think they definitely have some bugs in this program… and I just turned it off this morning so when I saw it come thru I about ran to the parking lot…

I turned mine off, so useless. Of course it reports every time I open anything...but sometimes an hour later. Needs an easy button to on/off so that when you could use it, you can, and when not you can shut it off....but the delays concern me. What's the point in telling me that a half hour ago, someone broke in?

Ya I just got another alert 12 mins after the last alert.. Turned the feature off since it obviously isn’t working right. I think it messed with my scheduled start this morning too. I have a schedule for it to come on at a specific time and it never turned on. Not sure if it’s connected.

I have mine on a schedule as well, been working flawlessly for months. Yesterday when it was schedule to be off, it alerted me everytime I opened the door. I deleted my schedule and created a new one and that seemed to fix it.

Great news!!! I no longer get false alerts!!!!

... because securialert has completely disappeared from the ford app.
I get no notifications at all now.

... I swear. Ford's acting like a like rinky dink company that can't make anything work.

Same problem with my 2021 outer banks ran great since 2021 December through 2023 of January then started becoming a problem. Had it to the dealership I purchased it from and they replaced the battery and did all updates and two days later same issue. Had it in another repair at dealership and they said it was the key fob in my pocket rubbing around or some shit idea like that which is crazy and I’m still having issues same problems. Hopefully someone could recommend something to fix this issue Thx Ken
