separate notification for callouts

Would it be possible to have a separate notification center for callouts, like @Administrator , @Nickp , @FirstOnRaceDay , etc? with how quickly notifications are coming in right now, they get lost (if I leave for an hour, I come back to 20-30 notifications right now)

It is absolutely crazy how much this forum has picked up. Glad to see it! But definitely a lot of notifications if you leave and come back.

Go through your acct preferences and uncheck a bunch of stuff you dont want notices for.....like do you really need an alert if somebody "likes" a post?
That really cut down a lot of the alerts I was getting.... I also sometimes just shut them off and check in at certain times instead..... early AM(6 to 7am), break time (930) lunch (1200), when I get back home at 400-ish...

There's no way to have a separate notification center just for @ mentions, but we've added an option to receive an email notification when you're mentioned via @.

There's also now an option to receive an email alert when you've been quoted.

To enable these, visit your account preferences and check the options.

We've also added some alert functionality to help manage alerts -- i.e. similar alerts are now grouped/summarized by default (but can be disabled). There are also now extra settings to control marking alerts read/unread.

You'll find these options in your account preferences.

Just added ability to receive email notifications when you are quoted.
