Should Ford follow Fiat's lead and drop gray from the Bronco color palette?

Other than the F-150 which is the golden child, most Fords get 8-12 color choices with more than half of them some shade of gray.

Mustang has 12 colors, half of which are gray (or more depending on if you consider some of the blues to really be gray)

The factory paint robots can support a limited number of colors. So every color has an opertunity cost associated with it. So every boring monochromatic grey means one fewer decent color.

Second point is objectively false. Ford dropped Rapid Red and Anti-mater Blue even though there were far less popular colors. Iconic Silver has consistently been the least popular color.

That would be my first choice to ditch, and get something fun like Twister Orange.

i take the science a bit farther; any combo of the non-colors black or white...er...that would be gray/grey/silvers, is not a color. more importantly, humanoids see in color, not black and white; so why fight nature? there is a force in the universe danny (noonan); see a color...be a color...choose a (real) color. bring back the 60s colors!

even ford was a bit confucius about what color cactus gray was; 2021 Ford Bronco Cactus Gray Color Officially Changed In Configurator (fordauthority.com). although i preferred the cactus gray that looked light blue green.

Nothing hid dirt as well as my old 65 Mustang in Prairie Bronze.

Ford needs to ditch one of the half dozen grays and give us a nice Coyote brown.
