Rear Door Cup Holder file uploaded to maker world for those that may be interested.

please read the entire description before you print this file and make the modification.

The rear netting/ cup holders are not as easy as the front doors to replace.

Removing the factory netting requires cutting or drilling of the plastic welds holding the trim on.

I attached my prints with stainless screws but I would recommend you remove your door panel and attach it through the factory trim holes. The model has no holes so you can drill and attach anywhere.

To print the passenger side just mirror the model horizontally in your slicer.

They look fantastic I just didn’t want to do a permanent modification, glad you maintained the styling though!

Hi! Help me understand this as I'm totally new to 3D printing - my library offers this and you pay by the weight. I sent them the makerworld files and this was their reply

For all six parts of this request, the total weight is about 704g of filament, making the cost estimate about $70.40.
Here is a breakdown of the parts/weight:
159g - Driver Side Large Pocket
85g - Driver Side Small Pocket
110g - Driver Side Cup
110g - Passenger Side Cup
160g - Passenger Side Large Pocket
83g - Passenger Side Small Pocket

I'm not quite understanding the "small pocket" files. I'm wanting it to look exactly like this, so what am I truly needing from the files above? I've seen some with an insert in the pocket that people use like a garbage liner/insert but I don't want that. I only see 1 pocket and the cup holder.

Your filament must be really expensive. A 2.2 lb roll on Amazon is usually around $20 and 704g needed for all six pieces is only 1.55 lb. Technically you should have some left over

Again, I'm a novice - it's PLA grey and the library is doing the work - is that expensive filament?

Okay if the library is doing it, that makes more sense. It may actually be cheaper for you to purchase a set already made then. Pla is a decent filament but it's not really rated for long-term heat exposure like what would be found in a vehicle. I would recommend ASA filament for its uv resistance. Will they let you bring your own filament?

Also sorry for how my post sounded. I wasn't trying to be rude

If you don't have a printer, and don't want to spend $70 (which is a nice donation to the library), I'd suggest you ask someone here to print it for you. I don't remember what the true cost of material was, but it's not as bad as the library makes it look. The worst part about that print is the amount of time it takes to complete. Some pieces took around 12 hours or so from what I can remember.

As for which filament, I agree, ASA would be best. ABS works pretty well too. But those need enclosed printers to print. So it may be that your library can only do PLA or PETG.

Found it here:

Wife and I have been running two of them for months and love it!

Also have their cup holder setup on both broncos, but no picture of that installed.

I get this question a lot on the small pocket, you by no means have to include it but I use it for a spare pair of sun glasses or pens, It just made more sense than having super deep pockets when I designed it.

As for the library I strongly recommend passing on that, that's both expensive and as jwhisl said PLA is not great of car interiors. ASA is best or PETG (cheaper) is generally fine. I'm happy for anyone here to print them for you but if you do not hear from anyone let me know and I can make a set.

if you don't have access to a local printer for ABS, you could try using craftcloud3d.com which bids out job on print farms all over the world.
(i'd used this service for printing parts out before i had my own printer)

i priced out black ABS (which oddly was less expensive than PLA) for the six parts.
if you use craftcloud3d, i'd upload the parts individually instead of the bigger 3mf. (the estimate for the 3mf ended up north of 1K$)

i think most of the cost is in the setting up for the print. if you order 5 copies of the six pieces, the per copy cost has dropped to 66$/copy

Looking back at this and putting it through Bambu, I'm coming up with about 450g of filament. So talking half a spool approximately. Granted if you wanted color for the name or logo, that would use considerably more just because of waste. So where $70 was almost sounding about right, with new info on filament usage it's about double what it'd cost someone to print it themselves.

Agreed they weren’t that expensive, now my giant heap of trial and errors was adding up during development 😂

Only thing that might throw off the calculation would be supports if necessary (not sure if factored into your count or not).

I managed to lay out the parts that the only thing that needed any extra support during printing was the lower pocket. All the rest were able to be printed in place without any help
