That's awesome! Did you add a lift or does the sasquatch work just fine? Any rubbing?
2" body lift, 1" level, trimmed crash bar mounts etc. it's tight when flexed, but no rub now

4play 20” 4P50 brushed, black, forged wheels. 37x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers with 3” Zone Adventure Series lift. Going more tech with some aspects of heritage with badging and eventually custom graphics. A ton of DV8 stuff, exhaust, and light bar being installed this week. This is addictive… like worse than my old Wrangler. .

I hear ya, but I would want to change my gear ratio. I only ordered the 3.73, bigger than 33” tires and I would be underpowered and losing too many MPG. End of the day, this vehicle will never see a trail. I’m installing a fully electric convertible top, it’s all about Beach vibes for me.

Toyo AT3’s 285/75/R17
Method 305 w/ 18mm offset

The ever so slightest rub on the crash bars when reversing fully locked. It doesn’t rub until you hit a bump. The perfect amount of poke for me. No lift.

I think that you could run bigger tires and not be "under powered" mostly because of the 10 speed gear box. It has so many ratios, that staying in the power band in sport mode is not difficult.

I am running what would nominally would be considered a 34" tire (33.5" actual) with the 4.27 gears and V-6. I personally know someone running 35's with the 3.73 gears and 2.3 engine who isn't complaining about power either.

Gas mileage will be affected more by the size and weight of the tire, but it really does not matter which gear set you have as you could manually shift it to the most efficient part of the power band having 10 gears. The key is to minimize boost and minimize bsfc based on volumetric efficiency of the motor when off-boost (probably going to be 2200-2300 RPM).

BTW, gas mileage is most affected by speed and aerodynamic load, which is considerably worse with the top down on most vehicles. So unless you are putting on miles like me (3600 miles/month), it is not really worth chasing mileage too much.

Yeah I had some pause about the under-powered comment. I have the turbo V6, so I agree it's not an issue. I am a city guy and happy with the look and feel. Super quiet ride, a little stiffer handling. I don't understand enough about maintaining the proper power band to get into that with you. I ended up adding a 2" leveling kit to it. All in all, the look reminds me of how my dad's old K5 Chevy sat. Good news is I can always go bigger the next go round and I have some time to read up a bit more on maintaining the proper power and BSFC and volumetric efficiency. Interestingly, the drive over from SD to PHX, it averaged 17 mpg and I was driving 90 mph. On the way back, after the tire swap and lift, it dropped to 15 mpg and I was driving 80mpg as I used the adaptive cruise control the entire journey back. The higher profile definitely increased the drag coefficient and I assume is the main culprit for the loss of MPG.

Had an unexpected surprise this afternoon at work. New tire & wheel package from Custom Offsets showed up a day early! Those guys are awesome! Decided to stay late and get them installed.

Wheels are Black Rhino Primm gold beadlocks, 17x8.5, 0mm offset with 37” Mud Terrain KM3’s. King 2.5 coilovers are the only lift installed. So far, no rubbing at all. A LOT more poke than the Goodyear 315’s on stock BB rims.
