I do have the M2M steps on ours. They're sturdy. Did have issues with the first set rusting just before a year was up, replaced free under warranty. If they start again I'll sandblast them here at work and use a rust inhibitor and repaint them myself.

I wouldn't do any SERIOUS wheeling where you might hit them without removing them first.

These were my first accessory. Wanted to be able to shuffle down the side when opening / closing my soft top. On since February 2022 and no rust yet.

I don't offroad where I need sliders so I haven't tested them in that regard, but I like the coverage from front to back.

(In this pic I had just gotten ceramic coat applied. Antimatter Blue!)
