I’m looking for side steps that will hook on to my stock rock rails.

Reviews of the ones I’ve sound so far include complaints about rusting after only a short while.

Any recommendations?

Anybody have a set they want to sell?

I'm thinking of welding some plate to mine and supporting to the frame....

I know this doesnt solve your specific ask, but the RC rock rails serve as steps as well. It's the only RC thing on my bronco and I like the look of them. my kids and wife use them as steps.

I have a set attached to my rocksliders. Only issue so far is that they are the same level as the rock sliders and with a Sasquatch package + 2 1/2” lift it’s too high for the wife at 4’11”. There is NO drop to them. Plus is you cAn remove them to offroad over rocks and put them back on while airing back up.

I'm happy with my IAG V2 EZ-Step add-on to the stock rock rails on my 2DR Badlands. Easy install and the V2's drop the step a couple inches. Made it much easier for my wife, no more step stool!

Thanks. The IAG’s look nice, but I read some reviews that they rusted in less than a year. Have yours held up well?

but how does it hold up to off-roading?
I have the IAG. After nearly 3 years I still love them. I got 2 pair for my 4 door: 2“ drop for front doors / every day, 0” drop for rear doors. For 80% of wheeling I leave them on and it they never touch. For the next 10% I remove the 2” drop pair, & move the 0” drop to the front. For the last 10% I remove all the steps. On a hunt in the Rocky Mountains in the snow last year I failed to take them off and had a couple of hits sliding into boulders. It barely scratched them - no dents or bending of the steps or the rock rails. And no, I don’t have rust issues.
BTW I have confidence in the OEM rock rails; look for YouTube videos of Ford testing of Broncos on the Rubicon and you’ll see that they banged & scraped the rails hard, a lot.

I have the OEM Raptor-style running boards which attach to the OEM rock rails.

They do have some drop to them, and they have a nice rough finish which is going to be useful when I get into mud, snow, and ice in the future. The downside of that finish is that my wife complained about the back of her ankles scraping that surface when she gets out, but since then she seems to have figured out how to avoid that.

The steps come off for off-roading, though since it's been only a few weeks I haven't gotten to the point yet where I felt I needed to take them off for a trip.

I bash my rock rails often, both sides have a small dent in them. I have been very happy with them.

I like the looks of these. I have first gen Mabett aluminum steps which I guess they don't make anymore, no rust and stout.

I really don't get the hate on the factory rails. First 99 percent of folks will never bounce them off a rock and if you do i bet they hold up fine. I do up class six ish trails and never bounce a rocker. The OEMs look good too
