Bestop is making soft tops for the 2 and 4 door Bronco. Does anyone have any info on these soft tops being offered in different colors? As they do for Jeep?
I would love to get the Tan or Sand colored soft top.
Plz share info if you got any.

If there is demand, it can happen.

Doubtful there will be a white soft-top in canvas as it's a terrible color for that material. Dirt/debris will settle in that surface so easily and ruin the appearance.

Numerous forum members have posted that tan jeep soft tops are also very difficult to clean.

But since any soft top has a shorter life expectancy than the vehicle, there will surely be plenty of options. And anyone paying attention understands we don't want to buy shit from webasto.

Doubtful people want to buy shit from anyone outside of farming/horticultural needs. Will be interesting to see if there are design or manufacturing issues with the top. So far any comment about design is simply speculation, however the dumpster fire isn't out yet and people are soon to get their hands on Webasto's goods.

Around here (Seattle) the soft top has the average life expectancy of "first time a knife is taken to it" (full disclosure: I'm still going to end up with dual tops)

reading between the lines on webasto, I've concluded that early MIC tops were produced offshore (China?)...and cost-prohibitive to mass-utilize here. For all the hand-wringing, I've never been clear on a specific issue with the Plymouth tops....seems like only 5-6 weeks ago they were producing 50-60/day and zero were acceptable. I get the impression it all turned around during the MAP shutdown when Ford staff flooded the place.

I really like the tan softops depending on the color of the vehicle. I am getting an AMB Outer Banks and think a mid-shade sand color (not too light) would look really nice. Perhaps that will be available when its time to get a replacement.

Thats not good. I thought the QC stuff was ironed out and it was just a staffing/learning issue. Is this recent? Or what they were dealing with a month ago?

from what you're hearing....Fixed???
Ya I hear they are making good tops now. Just not at near the rate Ford needs. The production equipment did not come online until pretty recently, so it’s understandable that there were issues to iron out. What I don’t fully understand is the low rate of production.

Ford AND Webasto Both losing money & reputation. Hopefully, someone's career was given the opportunity for a new direction.
