Software lag

I have an F150 and the software onboard is very snappy. Anyone notice a lag in the bronco ford sync software?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a consistent lag with Sync 4. Either software/OS or just a slower processor.

Yes, especially when it switches between “light” and “dark” mode when the ambient light changes. It lags so bad you can see each segment of the screen switch over. Not seamless at all.

Yeah it’s not very good. e.g., the volume indicator shows up well after I’m done actually adjusting the volume. Also takes forever to realize my phone is plugged in and enable carplay. In contrast, car play starts booting nearly immediately in our VW Atlas

OBX with the 314A I think it’s called - it’s the one for 3500.

Yeah same - in my 150 it’s fast and snappy.

I think my unit runs the same processor from the Tandy computer I purchased from Radio Shack in early 90's.

I haven’t received my Bronco yet, but from the approximate 1 million videos I have watched on it, I’ve always thought the infotainment screen looked laggy.

Mine also lags when I adjust volume. It shows up late and sticks around too long.
