My gen 1 is doing great! I'm sure they'll figure out the issues.
Mine too, but that is why I wouldn't buy first year, even on relatively "minor" redesigns like 18, 5.0.

I think if I'm in a situation where I need a SFA, I'd prefer it to be in something old/used/beat up, and not my new Bronco that's also a daily.

If you're in a situation where you need SFA and don't have it, it's more likely you'll quickly satisfy the third of your requirements. ;)

I guess you can wait another 10 years or so and pick up a beat up old used one.

I've waited plenty long already. I'm not sure the parking lot at work is much safer than a rocky trail either.

Since Bronco is based on Ranger I think its a 99% chance that Bronco will have Rangers IFS. Perhaps Ford will do a SFS for a Raptor or Tremor off road package.

Agreed that the base Bronco will very likely have the Ranger's IFS. With the Raptor name being associated with high speed offroaders, I don't see there being a solid axle there, more likely the same widened IFS as the Ranger Raptor.

A Tremor or other rock crawling package could potentially have a solid axle, we do have the reports of a 'rock monster' prototype of some form floating around...
