Exactly - maybe I would stick it back on if I am heading up to go skiing or other longer-haul.I agree, would like to roll without the spare/spare mount 90% of the time. Looks way cleaner and the gate is much easier to deal with.
Or you could unbolt the thing, plug the holes with shorter bolts so you can add back later.Their plan to address the NHTSA federal requirement to have a spare tire or temporary solution is what you see.
You could unbolt the housing and cut all the wires to the third brake light and back-up camera. Removing the backup camera on a post-2016 vehicle will result in a failed inspection and possible ticketing in some states.
Then fill the bolt holes and re-spray the tailgate. So yes, there is an easy way to address this. With time, money and attention by you.
HahahahahahahahahaaaaI thought the wheel on the back was for decoration, so the people behind me can see how nice my wheels are.
I'm ALWAYS late to the party....With respect @Lorenzo, this topic has already been discussed at length here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/spare-rear-tire-delete.2433/
edit(4 bumps later): ight coo, i’ll just go fk myself
Once seen, it cannot be unseen. The baboon anus of automotive modifications.....Existing options for Jeep - are all pretty ugly
I guess it could help to have it painted body colored
Maybe you could just leave it on but just back in to every parking spot so you didn't have to look at it
