Took the spare off my Jeep years ago. Passenger seat has been out since day 1 and the spare is strapped to the floor where the seat used to be. Of course this was before backup cameras became standard. I'll probably leave the Bronco spare on the rear, as long as it's a more stable setup than Jeeps. Those tailgates are flimsy. Mine was starting to creak and rattle with only a 33 on it and I even extended the rubber bumpers to maintain contact.
